TOWN OF WINTER - IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING SNOW PLOWING OF CONTRACTED DRIVEWAYS

The Town of Winter maintains approximately 149 miles of roadway.  During snow events, the Town road crew prioritizes clearing all main roads first, a process that typically requires a full day to complete.  Driveway plowing begins once the primary roadways are cleared, historically starting the second or third day.

With more than 350 contracted driveways, crews will reach each property as promptly as conditions allow.  The Town encourages residents to have an alternative plan in place for emergencies or situations where waiting may not be feasible. 

Please also note, there will be NO plowing of contracted driveways completed during the seasonal weight restrictions, which typically go in effect early to mid-March.
