HIGHWAY SHOP
Highway Shop location: W6222 State Highway 70--approximately 3/4 mi east of the Hwy 70/Cty W intersection in Village of Winter, Town Shop is located on the north side of Hwy 70..
SNOWPLOW DRIVEWAYS
The Town of Winter has 145 miles of roads to maintain and snow plow and our roads come first for emergency vehicles, school busses, etc. The town typically doesn’t get to driveways until the 2nd or 3rd day after a snowfall. If you have scheduled appointments etc we encourage you to have back up plans for snow removal. The Town of Winter does offer snow plowing of private driveways by contract. Please contact the Town Clerk for more information. A pre snowfall inspection of the driveway is required. A one time $15.00 deposit fee is required to establish a contract. Plowing time is billed by the minute, currently $4.00 per minute and is subject to change. Snow plow bills for the previous season along with a renewal contract for the upcoming season are issued in August. All bills must be paid in full before any further plowing will be done.
